Con ben 192 punti ha trascinato i suoi Sharks alla finale di Currie Cup, ma nulla ha potuto contro i Lions. Ora il 29enne francese ha voglia di tornare in Europa. In una intervista ha detto chiaro e tondo “che la prossima estate vorrei tornare nel Vecchio Continente. Ho un contratto per tutto il prossimo Super Rugby e so che la società vorrebbe che io lo prolungassi. Io qui sto bene, ma voglio riconquistare la maglia della nazionale, e dal Sudafrica non lo posso fare”.
